I received a notice of violation from our property manager on 5/12/14. Enclosed is the
application and payment for the temporary sign permit that you are requiring from me. I went
to the website in September of 2013 to make sure we could still hang our 4 x 6.banner for the
coming holidays I did not realize that the ordinance had changed after that. I feel like a warning
instead of a violation for the temporary permit should have been given instead of making us
pay for the permit or pay a fine. I don't understand why the city does not allow banners on our
business's it does not seem like that big a deal. I suppose I need to come to some of the
meetings to see if I can make sense of it.
