Performed inspection on the reinforcing steel in 8" CMU interior and exterior
UPS/Battery Room walls (slab to 4'). Rebar was checked for size, grade, lap, quantity,
spacing and clearances, where applicable. Reinforced cells appear relatively clean,
• and free of excessive mortar projections. Un-reinforced cells were filled with insulation.
.Observed placement of 4.0 yards of Knife River 7.5sk grout (mix 247HG3R00). Grout
was placed by pump and was mechanically consolidated. Grout slump - 9"+; grout
temperature - 66F; air temperature—57F. Only reinforced cells and bond beams were
grouted.
John Ayala (O&S Contractors) was asked to notify our office when additional services
are needed.
To the best of our knowledge, the work inspected was in accordance with revision I
plans dated 01-17-14, RFI's 008, 009, 010 and applicable workmanship provisions of
the I.B.C., except if noted above.
