4. Contractor to verify exact locations and routing of existing and proposed underground
utilities prior to starting any excavation. Any damage to existing pipes, underground
utilities or related facilities to be repaired at contractors expense in a manner approved by
Landscape Architect.
5. Contractor to fence and protect trunks, limbs, roots and root zones of existing trees to
remain as directed by Landscape Architect. Do not cut limbs or roots larger than T in
diameter without approval by Landscape Architect. Notify Landscape Architect prior to
performing any excavation within protection areas.
6. The irrigation layout is schematic. The intention is that all Irrigation lines wfll be routed
through lawns and plant beds, except where noted on draVings. Contractor to adjust
routing of irrigation lines, heads and sleeves as necessary for any existing or proposed
utilities.
7. Locate irrigation zone valve assemblies within plant beds where possible. Any irrigation
zone valves diagrammatically located in pavement areas are to be installed in plant beds.
8. Locate irrigation mainline, lateral lines and valve boxes to avoid conflicts with tree
