We would like to propose installing the hook bars (4 in total) at this location with "Simpson set-xp" adhesive before the slab and curb are poured. If this method is acceptable, please confirm required embedment depth Response: As we discussed on Friday, below is the response from the Structural Engineer.<br><br>This method is acceptable. Detail 1/S2.0 shows that the concrete curbs are 6"wide. The PAF note on S0.3 tells us that the minimum edge distance for concrete is 3". At all locations of door and window openings the adjacent framing is built up on concrete curbs. Please indicate how to achieve attachment of angle clip described in 9/S0.6. Confirming the former dimension of 6'-7" on 5/S3.2 is the correct • dimension. 2) The lower portion of detail 9/S3.2 shows the face of framing aligning between the transition from 6"to 2 ''/z' framing. 6/A6.1 shows that the 6" and 2 '/z"framing is offset at this same location. Confirming that 9/S3.2 is the correct profile. Response: The 6'-7"to bottom of beam header is the minimum dimension allowed for ATM clearance. This dimension is acceptable.<br><br>See revised structural detail #5 &#9 on S3.2 (SK-1 and SK-2). Follow the structural revised drawing showing 6" & 2 %" stud aligned. There is no parapet for the ATM roof. The roof framing is 9'-6"from finished floor to top of metal joist.
