Per sheet M1.1, the SS exiting the building should have a IE of

Request: On sheet S1.0, near grid line 8, between B & C lines, The hook bars
• as shown in detail 1 on S2.0 for the curbs at the short walls of the ATM
bump out were missed during the initial footing pour. We would like to
propose installing the hook bars (4 in total) at this location with
"Simpson set-xp" adhesive before the slab and curb are poured. If this
method is acceptable, please confirm required embedment depth
Response: As we discussed on Friday, below is the response from the Structural
Engineer.<br><br>This method is acceptable. Please provide 6"

SPEC/DRAWINGS/DETAIL: 9/S0.6, 1/S2.0, S0.1 Location:

QUESTION: The lower portion of detail 9/S0.6 shows the jamb stud
attachment to the bottom track using a 1.5" x 1.5" x 54 mil clip, with
the angle clip attached to the concrete using (2) .157 PAF @ 4" o.c.
Detail 1/S2.0 shows that the concrete curbs are 6"wide. The PAF note
on S0.3 tells us that the minimum edge distance for concrete is 3".
At all locations of door and window openings the adjacent framing is
built up on concrete curbs. Please indicate how to achieve attachment
of angle clip described in 9/S0.6.

QUESTION: 1)The right side of detail 5/S3.2 shows a maximum
distance to the bottom of the box beam header as 6'-7"AFF while

6/A6.1 shows the same location with an elevation of 7'-0"AFF.
Confirming the former dimension of 6'-7" on 5/S3.2 is the correct
•
dimension.
2) The lower portion of detail 9/S3.2 shows the face of framing aligning
between the transition from 6"to 2 ''/z' framing. 6/A6.1 shows that the
6" and 2 '/z"framing is offset at this same location.
Confirming that 9/S3.2 is the correct profile.
Response: The 6'-7"to bottom of beam header is the minimum dimension allowed
for ATM clearance. This dimension is acceptable.<br><br>See revised
structural detail #5 	 on S3.2 (SK-1 and SK-2). Follow the
structural revised drawing showing 6" & 2 %" stud aligned. There is no
parapet for the ATM roof. The roof framing is 9'-6"from finished floor
to top of metal joist. See architectural section#6/A6.1 and detail •
#31/A7.1.<br>

Simpson S/HJCT hangers may be attached to the WF beam by using
self drilling screws or welds as shown in the Simpson catalogue.
Alternate fastening options, such as PAFs, must be reviewed by
Simpson for acceptability and recommendations.
