RE: Final Grading of lot 5, Carriage Place Subdivision
Dear Mr. Parrish,
At your request I'm writing relative to the surface grading requirements for the lot located
at the rear of your property, addressed as 1794 Carriage Place and also refered to as lot
five of Carriage' Piace Subdivision. Requirements for acceptance of the Carriage Place
Subdivisi6n included that lot five be graded to the street. After talking with you, we are
ih agreement that the grading was in compliance when the development received final
approval. You also agreed that the lot grading was in compliance when the dwelling
received final approval. At your request I viewed the final grading of the lot last summer
and found that the rear portion of the lot is no longer sloped to the street. It appears that
the lot has been regraded after the property received final approval.
Please be aware that the One and Two Family Dwelling Code requires the final surface
grading to slope away from the structure 6 inches in 10 feet.
I hope ~his letter answers any questions you may have had. If I can be of any further
service please call me at 726-3666.
Sincerely,
/
