Dear Robert:
The purpose of this letter is to confirm that all egress light levels meet the requirements of Section 1006 of the
Oregon Structural Specialty Code 2010. The lowest foot-candle level recorded in areas required by 1006.3 to be
provided with emergency back-up is 1.8 foot-candles at the walking surface when powered by the emergency
electrical system.
