Contractor: Chambers Construction BP No.: 811-SPR2013-00496 Periodic Inspection:
08-01-13: Performed continuous inspection during installation of forty-eight(48) Powers
1/2” x 5 1/2" Power-Stud+ SD1 wedge anchors (ICC ESR 2818/2966) into existing floor
slab for connection of new storage racks inside new storage building. Two (2) anchors
were installed thru each base plate. Prior to installation, verified minimum embedment
depth of 3 1/4". Holes were drilled deeper to accommodate drilling fines. Verified
installation torque of 40 ft. lbs. using a calibrated torque wrench. (weather: inside).
08-05-13: Returned to jobsite and witnessed installation of sixteen (16) 1/2" x 7 1/2"
anchors securing exterior storage rack frames to existing concrete paving east of new
storage building. Anchors were installed and checked as noted above. (weather:
clear/60°).
Mike Kennedy (Galifco) was asked to notify our office when additional services are
needed.
To the best' of our knowledge, the work inspected was in accordance with RDE
drawings dated 06-19-13 and applicable workmanship provisions of the I.B.C., except if
noted above.
