Omlid & Swinney fire protection and security Inc., has repaired the 8" fire line and has flushed the line free of any dirt, rocks or debris from the pipe being damaged, Professional Underground has placed a small amount of imported 3/4"-0 moisture conditioned aggregate over the pipe to assure it does not move during the pressure testing and flushing of the line, the work of back filling and compacting the material will commence tomorrow. (2) 5 gallon buckets of the existing asphalt base aggregate were received to be transported to our Portland office for a proctor to be ran, this is in hopes of reusing the existing aggregate base after removal of the damaged asphalt, the damaged asphalt is still in place, there is no way knowing what extent of aggregate base damage has occurred until it is removed, also there is also no existing proctor available nor can it be found to use for the existing in place asphalt base aggregate material, thus the proctor samples being taken. Trickter Rig Construction placed and additional 8-9" loose lift over the pipe repair area bringing the backfilled area to approximately 8" below finished grade, performed a field density test on the lift after compactive efforts were applied with passing results, see daily field density report for specific test results. Trickter Rig Construction has loaded and transported off site the 1'r-0 material that was rejected per Bob Garrison, the S.D.Deacon Superintendent and the unusable segregated material obtained from the existing base course removal within the repair area of the Walmart property, this work was completed at 11:00 AM. Work continues transporting, placing and compacting the reclaimed 3/4'r-0 material, working from the truck dock ramp North to the intersection, the reclaimed material is being placed in an 8" loose lift and compactive efforts are being applied with the use of a Hamm 3410 single drum vibratory roller, (4)field density tests were performed as work progressed on the unfinished base course, see daily field density report for specific test results. The 7-8" unfinished base course has been placed, using the imported 3/4'r-0 material and compactive efforts were applied . within the Gateway Mall Loop Rd section of the repair area, (5)field density tests have been performed with compaction results meeting or exceeding the minimum 95% compaction requirements of spec section 02300,3.11, A and B, see daily field density report for specific test results. Trickter Rig Construction has completed the unfinished base course throughout the repair area in it's entirety and the process of placing hubs and final grading has started, field density testing will be performed for final acceptance after this work has been completed tomorrow. ©2000-2013 OESTLab by SpectraoEST.com Page I of l .53 Professional Service Industries,Inc. j —^ In/10/ //hLLLGon 6032 N.Cutter Circle.Suite 480 • 8✓)r07 ✓ ' Portland,OR 97217 ' L/ T Build 7 CCB No.176269 I LJ L On L Phone:(503)289-1778 tt Engineering • Consulting • Testing Fax:(503)289-1918 1--- Report No: DFgDS541437--278 Daily Field Report Issue No: 1 WAL-MART STORES, INC.
