Re: Development Issues Meeting (DIM)-Questions
The following are specific questions that the Applicant, Hayden Homes and the Consultant,
Cardno would like to know about the proposed Wild Goose Landing residential subdivision located
on Tax Lot 180240-0000313 (north of Mt Vernon Road and west of S 55th Place).
1. What is the review process and steps to obtain land use approval for the proposed
residential subdivision on this property? (include annexation, design review, and platting)
2. Can the project be phased so that construction may occur in the near-term for the portions
that are within the City limits? Can the entire project receive tentative approval including
the portion inside and outside the city limits? (include a description of what can be
constructed in the unincorporated portions of the site prior to annexation. e.g. roads, utility
lines, pathways.)
3. Are public services available and at adequate capacity to serve the proposed
development? (include assessment relating to water, sanitary sewer, and transportation
capacity)
4. How does the Hillside Overlay District apply to this site? Are there any other overlay
districts that affect this site?
5. Does the City have any concerns relating to the proposed development (include density,
lot sites, connections, levels of service)
6. What is the process and fees for annexation?
7. Is it possible to obtain construction permits by June 2014? What are deadlines for
application submittals to keep this schedule?
