As you requested~ an inspection ha~ been made during the performance
of the excavation and .placement of gravel fill on this site in
preparation for the construction of foundations. The excavation
involved removal o~ surface organic soil and other unsuitable material
and "the placement of 1211 mlnimum of. .1-1/2" m:l.nus crl.lshl?d rock in
accordance' with our standard procedures. The compacted,surface of the
crushed rock is adequate tor a foundation bearing capacity of 1500 "psf
which is adequate to support the proposed conventional wood frame
r:esidence.
The surface of the gravel fill is considered stable ~oil and
therefore, Oregon One and Two Family Dwelling specialty Code Table No.
R-304.3a would apply in accordance with Section R-304.3#1.
