Performed continuous inspection during the installation of twenty-three (23) #5 x 2'
vertical dowels into top of CMU wall on line 2, from D to F and eight (8) #5 x 1' •
horizontal dowels into side of CMU wall at 2D, 2E & 2F. Prior to installation, the
predrilled holes were cleaned with a brush and compressed air. Verified minimum
embedment depth of 8" for vertical and 6" for horizontal. Dowels were secured with
Simpson Set XP (ICC—ES ESR 2508/expiration date 01/2014).
To the best of our knowledge, the work inspected was in accordance with plans dated
01-30-09 and applicable workmanship provisions of the I.B.C., except if noted above.
