Performed inspection on the 8" CMU wall infills on line 2, from line D to F (existing
block to 5'4"). Rebar was checked for size, grade, lap, quantity, spacing and

clearance, where applicable. Reinforced cells appear relatively clean and free of
excessive mortar projection.
Observed placement of 3.5 yards of Knife River 7sk grout (mix 247KG3R200). Grout
was placed by pump and was mechanically consolidated. Grout slump — 8"+; air
temperature—54°; grout temperature—68°. Walls were grouted solid.
Also, witnessed the installation of epoxy anchored (Simpson Set XP-ICC ESR
2508/expiration date: 12/2014) horizontal #5 x 14" rebar dowels into existing concrete
for CMU bond beam connections at 7'4" and 9'4" above top of existing block wall. Prior
to installation, verified hole cleanliness and minimum embedment depth of 6".
Gabe Morse (Haps Masonry) was asked to notify our office when additional services
are needed.
To the best of our knowledge, the work inspected was in accordance with plans dated
01-30-09 and applicable workmanship provisions of the I.B.C., except if noted above.
