After receiving the complaint, I met with the apartment managers later that same day, and together we evaluated the condition of exteri'or exit stairways. It was evident that the exterior stairways suffered extensive dry rot damage making them unsafe. Because ofthe extensive damage, repair or replacement of the damaged exit stairways is required as soon as possible. Please contact me within ten (10) days ofthe date of this letter regarding plan submittal for the replacement of the damaged stairways. You may .contact me at 541-726-3666 from 8:00a.m. to 9:00 a.in. or from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in this matter. This letter is regarding your inspection report for the new residence at 733 C Street dated . April 12, 2005. You indicated that you have no record of wall insulation or drywall inspections. Since I am responsible for getting inspections I have clearly missed a beat. I personally supervised' all of the work in question and assure you that both of those tasks where done to meet or exceed building standards.
